We’re not your average bakery. We keep our operation small so we can stay true to our mission of making delicious and beautiful desserts, while giving each client the attention they deserve.
Here’s what sets us apart:
Quality and freshness are of utmost importance to us. There’s no stockpile in our freezer... we bake our items fresh because they taste better that way.
We value our clients. When you reach out to us, you’ll speak with the person who will actually be making your sweets (our chef’s name is Leah, and she’s awesome).
We bake like your grandma (if she went to pastry school). No ingredient shortcuts... we make things from scratch the way they were intended to be made.
We hope you’ll keep us in mind for your next sweet occasion. We offer dessert catering for birthdays, weddings, baby showers, anniversaries, holidays, corporate events, and more.
Armed with a powerful sweet tooth and great attention to detail, Leah traded in her corporate days for the delicious world of pastry when she moved to Miami in 2010. Leah excelled in the Baking & Pastry program at Johnson & Wales University, graduating at the top of her class and earning JWU’s prestigious Apprenti Cuisinier Award in Classical Pastry.
Leah worked in the pastry kitchens of some of Miami’s hottest restaurants and hotels, including the Loews Hotel and Chef Michelle Bernstein’s Crumb on Parchment, but yearned for a more personal experience with her clients. In 2012, Leah founded Bakeshop Miami. Her mission is simple: make delicious and beautiful desserts for her amazing clients.
As Leah likes to say, think of her as your own personal pastry chef!
